The Art of Make-Up Application

Mac brush #187
Chap stick time.
Final look

While searching fun places to go with Mila, Daddy, Papa Guy and Abuela Donna, Mila thought it would be a good idea to go through mommy's purse, get her make up bag and start putting make up on me. So of course, Mila pulled out all my brushes and I let her go to town on my face, and yes I helped her. I think Mila has watched Tia Carmen, Abuela, Tia Sara and me put on make up enough that she actually knew what brushes to use!

Mando and I are a firm believer that we shouldn't put make up on our kids, like that show Toddlers and Tiara's. But we thought her putting make-up on me was ok and I put chap stick on her. Daddy and Mommy were very proud of maybe a future make-up artist. We don't know, we are just proud and amazed on how she knew how to apply make-up on mommy.

Best Part is that she helped Abuela Donna too!!!

Potty Time

Mando and I noticed that Mila has been giving us signs that she wants to be potty trained, so we went and got her and awesome potty!

On Sunday, Mila needed to go number 2 bad and I she rushed to the bathroom and I helped her get ready and she pooped all by her self! We were so happy to show that our 18 month old is finally being potty trained in such an early stage! It's been hard sometimes but she gets the concept!

Pizza

Well if you know Ozzie, than you know she is a Jersey girl who loves and is the pickiest Pizza eater you will ever meet! With that being said, she know this delicious Pizzeria that reminds her of Jersey's pizza, the place is called Venizia's Pizza.

Mila has been coming here for quite sometime and she finally got to have her own slice. She's a bit to young to have a pie, but hey one day she will :)

This is her wonderful experience with her folded pepperoni with Ricotta...

Mama's Chair

Mila was running from Mama thinking that Mama(g-ma) was chasing. Finally Mama caught her Chocobeast and put her on Mama's rocking chair. Mila loves, I mean absolutely loves her chair maybe it's because it's kind of snugged.

Well Mama gave Mila her IPod and was watching Princess and the Frog and drinking some of mommy's homemade tea with her Mama's Thumper!

This is Mila's typical Sunday's with her Mama!

Charger Jersey

While Mando was in the shower to get ready to watch the game, I thought it would be so cute to have Mila wear his Jackson Jersey! Yes, Mila is officially a Charger fan... I think the Jersey proves it all... Luckily baby brought luck to the Chargers since they won! Good Job Mila!

Pillow lover

Mila is just like daddy loves her pillows... While daddy and mommy were putting sheets on the bed we decided to lend Mila our pillows. In true Mila fashion, she gathered the pillows made a mini nest and just laid there so comfortably! It was so cute to watch her rearrange the pillows in the form that she likes them. Mila is such a smart baby, that when she didn't like the way the pillow or the position the pillows were she would stand up and try again until they were to her perfection!

Here's a few pics that daddy took!

Making her first cake

On this particular day, we decided it's time to make our famous cake! Mando and I have such a sweet tooth, and decided it was time to let Mila help us make the cake! Mila helped mix the mix and watch it bake, and let it rest... Daddy taught Mila how to make holes in the cake for our secret ingredients... However, once Mila saw the the Cool Whip out, we were in trouble...

Mila grabbed the spoon and was grabbing handful of whipped cream! As you can tell she loved it! Boy was she hyper afterwards but lucky she had the biggest sugar crash ever!

Baby girl tried her cake the next day and enjoyed every bite to utmost!

"Like mother, Like Daughter"

The connection a daughter has with her mother is something that is so sacred, from the day they are born to when they grow up and leave the nest, but even in that moment a daughter will always need her mother, for guidance, support, knowledge, and to remain grounded. Nothing can touch that. When I look at Mila I see so much of Ozzie in her. From the smile's she makes, to the way she walks, even some of her mannerisms are exactly the same. I'm very proud to say that Ozzie is an absolutely amazing mother. She has really come into her own and to sit back and watch her interact with mila is something more beautiful than words can describe. There is truly no love like a mothers love, and I just wanted to take this moment to pay homage to all the mothers out there from all walks of life, and most of all my adoring wife to be whom I love so much. Thank you for giving me such a beautiful daughter and thank you for always being you. Mila is one lucky girl
