As soon as we entered the park Mila's eye's were scanning back and forth, gazing in every direction at all the sights, colors, and people. You could tell she was overjoyed as well as overwhelmed but ready to take Seaworld head on. So she grabbed the map with mommy and helped plan our journey.
So first on the agenda was the "Sesame Street Bay of Play", which is a very kid friendly part of Seaworld filled with all sorts of rides and attractions for a kid to go banana sandwich on. First stop was to get wet, Yes it is no Arizona, but it was still hot. As you can see from the pictures above Mila wasnt to enthralled about getting soaked with daddy. It was quite the opposite but after the initial shock set in she seemed a bit more at ease and cooled off. Next stop was the "Seacups" which is a oceanic version of "Teacups", and it just so happens to be her sister Marley's Favorite. We spun round and round and Mila seemed a little bit apprehensive in the beginning but warmed up to it in the middle.
After that we decided to head towards "Turtle Reef" which is a fairly new attraction and no sooner then we walked into the encounter Mila's eyes lit up like a Broadway sign in New York. She was amazed at the turtles and could not stop staring and pointing. She defiantly enjoyed the turtles.
Right next to that was the "Shark Encounter" which is one of daddies favorite's so I had no doubt in my mind that Mila would love it as well. Sure enough Mila was yet again amazed at what she saw before her. Going through the tube under water was an experience. Mila's head was swiveling from left to right, and up and around. You could tell she was enjoying herself.
A little hop skip and a jump away from that was the "Sea lions" and if I had to label one of Mila's favorite encounters I'd have to say that was her favorite. She was so captivated by them and would not take her eyes of them. She was even brave enough to feed them a stinky fish, I am so proud of my brave little munchkin.
We had the chance of seeing most of the Encounters from the Turtles, to the Dolphins. Sitting through the shows was something of a challenge and for those of you with kiddos you know at the age of 1 and a half they are very rambunctious and getting them to sit still is almost impossible. But I don't blame her she is very inquisitive, and enjoys exploring every nook and cranny. We had a wonderful time with everyone minus the fact that Marley wasn't their but we will be back and hopefully next time we will be able to get them together for some much need sister bonding time. I want to thank Tash, Candice, and Deashuan for being able to make the trip with us on this very special day. It was wonderful and I'm glad all went according to plan.
